The next time anyone (including the government, the medical establishment, the mainstream media, academia, etc.) tell you that “science says” or “the consensus is,” consider this advice from Dr. Frank Shallenberger: “The scientific consensus is constantly changing. That’s the nature of science.
Science Once Believed
Scientists once believed the sun revolved around the earth . . . until Galileo proved that it was the other way around. They believed that germs had nothing to do with disease . . . until Louis Pasteur proved them wrong. They believed that heavier-than-air machines would never be able to fly . . . until the Wright Brothers came along.
Remember When…
There are plenty of modern examples, too: Remember when you were a kid and they told you that tonsils served no useful purpose and should be surgically removed? But then they discovered that tonsils are your immune system’s first line of defense against bacteria and viruses. Or what about the hundreds of prescription drugs that were approved by the FDA . . . only to be removed from the market after they killed hundreds of thousands of people.”
Thy Word is a Lamp
My observation is that most scientific opinions are censored and mandates are given by people who have a lot of money to make or power to gain or keep. On the other hand: “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105) “Thy Word is truth.” (John 17:17) “The word of the Lord endures forever.” (1 Peter 1:25) And there are many, many more such verses.
